AB InBev 3D-prints trendy benches using 500 kg of recycled PET cups

AB InBev showcases yet another sustainability innovation using a large-format mobile 3D-printer at our headquarters in Leuven, Belgium. Over 500 kg of PET cups recycled from Tomorrowland’s 2017 edition are used to 3D-print trendy benches. At the occasion of World Environment Day we partnered with The One Project – a 360° platform repurposing plastic waste – to bring the large-format mobile 3D-printer to Leuven. As the world’s leading brewer, we are aware of the impact plastic waste has on our natural resources. With our worldwide sustainability goals launched earlier this year we stepped up our efforts, a.o. to have circular packaging for all of our products by 2025 .
